Wow—cannot believe another year has managed to zip by! Lots of cool things happened at Springs Pet Portraits this past year. Our annual fundraiser for All Breed Rescue (HaveANicedog.org) was the biggest success to date- all the slots booked up very quickly and the calendar contest was fun. The 2016 theme (for 2017 calendar) was “Sports” with lots of very creative entries. Stay tuned for the theme for the 2017 contest—it will be revealed in February. The 2017 Calendars to benefit All Breed are still available through ABRT and at BonPetSupply.com
We continued to get dogs of all sizes (and shapes!) in for portraits throughout the year. As for products we began offering some great framing options for our pet portraits which proved to be very popular. Now you can get your print with choice of mat and frame in one stop.
This fall Springs Pets was chosen to create calendar portraits for the Downtown Partnership 2017 Calendar featuring dogs of downtown—those dogs frequently in shops and offices in the downtown core. It was a blast —the calendars benefiting Downtown Venturesare still available at HoiokedOnBooksCo.com PoorRichards.net and CJKard.com . This was a whirlwind affair with us completing 12 dog sessions—some with multiple dogs—in just two weeks. Be sure to check out the calendar and of course visit the shops to meet these fine dogs (and one cat as dog imposter!) in person. As always we take some great portraits for Christmas cards—many at the last minute —and create some wonderful custom cards. Didn’t get cards this year and feeling left out? Not to worry—we offer special sessions in late Fall to try to accommodate everyone interested. If you’re not on our email list pop over to the home page of this website and at the top you can click to add yourself to the list. We only email about once a month and this will keep you in the loop on all our happenings at the studio.
May 2017 be a stellar tail-wagging year for you all!
