You’ve decided to get a portrait of your pet created. Now what? Well once we do an in person consultation —discussing the session with you and letting you dog get acquainted with the studio environment we schedule the session.
But before the session the one thing we will discuss in the consultation is what do you want to do with your pet portrait? This helps in planning the session. Do you want to hang it on a wall? Perhaps a series of shots of your pet in smaller frames, or if you have more than one pet being photographed perhaps a framed print of each. If you are in the portrait with your pet we might suggest a larger print for your wall such as a 20x24. If it’s just your pet we often will go with either a series of smaller prints (such as the 13x13 framed prints) or a 16x20 print. We offer both framed with glass and mat and framed without. We also offer custom gallery wrapped canvases—framed and unframed. These offer a nice contemporary look.
Out of wall space or not sure that’s what you want? We do offer slimmer wall hangings like our Gallery Mounted collage shown above. These fit in narrow wall spaces. Or maybe you want a smaller table top item for home or office? We offer mini Gallery Mounts in 5x7 sizes as well as the popular photo cube which is 4” inch wooden cube that shows off 5 prints of your pet. Of course we offer several other products such as holiday ornaments or fine art cards as well.
All of our products are archival, meaning that they are well crafted to last a long time. What’s the next step? Call us for a consultation and we’ll schedule a time to sit down and look at various products and discuss what’s right for you. For more information of Pet Portraits call the studio @719.475.0160.
